NEW CO STATE LAWS - SB-196
Passed with unanimous support, 35 to 0.!
Great efforts went into Bill 196 this year during Legislative Session here in Colorado. GHC was honored to have ongoing active input into the language of this historic bill and would like to thank the KEY parties who made 196 happen for hemp this year. Thank you Senator Vicki Marble, the Colorado Department of Agriculture and Matt Taylor with ReddTaylor & your amazing lobbying team.
Why is 196 important?
Protect hemp farmers further from LE actions for cultivation, processing, transportation and distribution.
Helps to further State Seed Certification efforts.
First ban on Hemp has happened for the County of Pueblo Colorado. Rocky Mountain Hemp Association aka National Hemp Association, CBDRx, Southern Colorado Growers Association and Vicente Sederberg are responsible for both authoring and participation in the creation of this ban.
If you have been or know some one who has been effect by the ban in Pueblo or would like to support litigation efforts against this unconstitutional ban please contact GHC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 720.401.5609.
